I enjoy seeing pictures of others' sewing rooms. Here is mine. It's in our basement, so no natural light. That's the one thing I don't like about it. Our basement has these strange areas that jut out from the main space. We turned one into a closet, and my husband turned one into a sewing nook for me. There's yet another one--maybe a wine cellar some day. For now, here's how it looks. I took up quilting almost two years ago, and took over the space at the same time. I have a ping pong table that allows me to have two projects going at the same time.

Thanks. It's a good space. I do like all the room. My little "nook" sewing area makes it a little difficult to work with a lot of bulk. For that, I have to move to my dining room table.

Your sewing room is so spacias sp? I love it. Mine I have to share with my DH and his computer matenance, he crouding me out. I'm thinking of moving to the livingroom. At least I move around. You make me Envous. You are lucky to have such space. Theresse

That is a lovely space....glad to see I am not the only one with a special space for the cat! Mine takes up residence on the cutting board or whatever piece I am trying to sew if I dont! LOL
