Hi all
Just wanted to share my new sewing table...still in progress. Hubby and friend are making it for me. The bottom is made of the 2 sets of 3 drawers that were the base of our old water bed. The drawers were stacked, the middle 2 drawers removed for my legs. I really like that the drawers are larger than normal. The table is 4' x 8'. Still need to get formica on the top or some kind of glossy smooth finish. My sewing room is still a mess, LOL. warm quilt hugs, sue in CA |

Worked for me - Are the flower quilts on the same page yours?
|
That's going to be awesome! Formica would be a good choice. I used to have a formica dining table and got rid of it when the chairs all broke. I'm sorry I did, it was great for quilting! Please post again when it's finished! :D

The floral quilts are NOT mine... only one, the scrap strip quilt is one I made. The rest are from quilt shows etc.
I can only aspire to make such beautiful quilts. warm quilt hugs, sue in CA |
Oh happy day! Wish I had room for one.

Looks really great! Wish I had room for something that size!

That is looking awesome. It's going to be great when it is done.

I love the table and the quilts!!!!
I will say one thing from experience, if I had it to do it all over again I would move my treadle and machine to one side of the table and not take it out of the middle. It would give you a lot more room to work with your quilts especially when it comes to quilting a King size. But you know what they say hindsight is better then foresight. Billy |
Very Nice!!! :D :D :D
