Mine was given to me so I am not sure. Several others have mentioned having them. Maybe someone will have an idea.

This is an absolutely breath taking quilt.... Is there a pattern name? My sister LOVES purple and I would love to make one for her....

RedGarnet222 02-13-2010 08:48 AM

Yes suzi, you sure are lucky! But from the sounds of it, you spoil each other. LOL! And so it should be. My sister and I are like that too. She bought me my first computer nine years ago.

Charity Quilter 02-13-2010 09:06 AM

I went to Timeless Treasures at:

http://www.ttfabrics.com/fabricshop/

Went to the "Fabric Catalog" and chose "floral". There it was first photo. That particular fabric is called fleur-c5704 Larkspur.

It is so beautiful!

The block is called "Crossed Roads". If you go to the site called quilterscache.com, she has the instructions for it. This can be done in so many colors.

littlehud 02-13-2010 10:31 AM

That is beautiful. Are those the fabrics you will be using. I love that floral. She is lucky to have you for a sis.

Yes. Those are the actual fabrics. EQ5 is wonderful! I have the light purple. I just have to get the green watercolor, and the purple flowered one.

That is a beautiful quilt! So bright and crisp. I never would have thought to put the green and purple together, but I think I will now.

fktsewing 02-13-2010 11:04 PM

WOW--can you let me know what size it is? And what size each block is? I have been looking for a pattern for a red & black quilt for my brother and I really like this pattern.

smagruder 02-14-2010 01:14 AM

Thank you my new friend. I am a fairly new quilter and have fallen in love with this pattern and the colors. My sister LOVES purple so I will be using some shade of it as well. Thank you!!!

That is beautiful. I love your colors and fabric choices.

smagruder 02-14-2010 06:42 AM

Hi, I think I found the pattern. The maker of this gorgeous quilt added the outside bands of green and purple. The size of the block is 16" if that helps any. Each block is made up of 4 four inch blocks. Good luck.

smagruder 02-14-2010 06:43 AM

That was before the outside bands were added. sorry I forgot that part.

You beat me to the punch.......yes the block is supposed to be 16" and I added two little borders. My blocks will be 19" each and I am making it 3 x 4, with sashing in between. According to EQ5 mine will be 58 1/2 x 75 3/4 when it is all finished.

I am really enjoying the wonderful response to the quilt I am making for my baby sister. It is wonderful having a great big group of people who all like the same thing, exchanging ideas.
