Nicely done, this sure looks tricky to do. Enjoy your lovely creation.

gorgeous!!!

GammaLou 08-20-2013 05:07 AM

What a beautiful job you have done. Congratulations!!

Geri B 08-20-2013 05:20 AM

Necessity is the mother of invention and you proved it by making your own ruler to make what you wanted....beautiful, and makes me embarrassed as I have the wedge but never made the table runner...now I will pull some fab and make one for holidays.....

KimmerB 08-20-2013 05:28 AM

Looks beautiful and I like your colors. Rulers for 1 project seem too costly for me as I normally make one 1 to try patterns.

Wow, it is beautiful!! Thanks for sharing.

That is so pretty and I recently started using freezer paper for templates as well. It works pretty slick for those downloaded projects with shapes that I don't have.

your project is marvelous. Regarding template material, just read in a quilting mag. that floor tile is good for this and is thick and reusable. Don't know myself, but worth a try.

ThimbleShy 08-20-2013 07:53 AM

Where did you get the pattern. Or the deminsions?

joann11 08-20-2013 08:35 AM

Beautiful, how do you use freezer paper for templates?

Rumbols 08-20-2013 08:42 AM

Beautiful job. Looks lovely.

You did a great job for making your own ruler. I have the stupid ruler and mine doesn't look that good.

suzyq2154 08-20-2013 09:11 AM

Gorgeous runner. Love the colors.

Very pretty.

MargeD 08-20-2013 10:50 AM

WOW - it's totally awesome, and kudos for ingenuity using a freezer paper "ruler".

IBQUILTIN 08-20-2013 11:57 AM

It is so lovey like it is, maybe don't cut the edges, but sandwich it and turn it

dcamarote 08-20-2013 01:27 PM

I have made several of these and did not bind any of them. Just sandwiched then sewed around the edges and turned. They have all turned out great. Love your colors.

Radiana 08-20-2013 03:31 PM

Very very nice and I love the combination of blue and yellow. Great job.

Beautiful runner! Making a spiral table runner is on my to-do list. First I need to get the pattern and ruler. Hope it's not too hard.:p

Butterfli19 08-26-2013 05:22 PM

Wow, that's quite the illusion! Love the color scheme. I also love the one in your avatar.

mmm I like that Idea... how do you achieve the curve.. I would much rather sandwich than bind....

Lilrain 08-28-2013 12:22 PM

wow, I like that better than any that i have seen. Your color placement is what does it!

heather1949 08-29-2013 03:49 AM
