amma, they don't take that long. I've just gone from fabric to hexs up on the wall in 6 hours. I've just done one with the leaf fabric Gai sent me. I'm now playing with the hollow blocks. :D

Blocks that look like hollow cubes but end up hexagon shaped so they fit in with the OBWs - you piece dark, medium and light fabrics together to give a 3D effect. I'll post some pics when I make one I'm happy with!

That's an awesome squisky Amma!!! It will be fun to make OBWs with it.

K - Can you do a tute on the hollow blocks? I'd love to learn how, I think it would look good in the OBW quilt I'm doing now.

I'd be glad to - just as soon as I'm sure I can do them myself!

Lots of pictures please....
I am still nervous about starting a plain OBW and now you all are
talking about hollow centered ones???

***note to self....buy smelling salts and wear them around your
neck while attempting this technique***

Your fabric is beautiful!

I have alway's liked flowers on a black background. Was just at Hobby Lobby-must have missed this one or they were out of it. I'll have to check again.

Beautiful.

Hollow OBW's? Hmmmm
