I just bought a 1907 White with a shuttle bobbin. Haven't done anything with it.

Here are a few more pictures of her. She sews beautifully. The tension is super sensituve but once set and not moved again it stays put.

She's a beaut!! 8-) I just love the design work on the old machines. Our modern machines are sometimes so plain. The old ones are like works of art. :wink:

She is a real nice machine!! Sorry it took so long but I backed into this thread because when I went to look for it I could not find it.

But now that I am here......It is a badged machine more than likely a National but I will have to go back and look around and see if I can nail it for you. The wooden pitman arm tells me that its pre 1900. After 1900 the popular pitman are was steel but they did have a few left over s make it a few years past then. So at the latest 1905.

The decals are in really nice shape for the age and the cabinet looks like it will clean up wonderfully. I really like the drawer pulls, very ornate for the type of cabinet it has.

You will love sewing on this machine and if I were you I would buy up some needles for it just to have.

What does it mean (a badged machine)?

That mean it was made by one company and another paid them to put their name on the machines to sell as their own. Like Kenmore does with their appliances.
