Ms Lois is actually well known for her stunning applique work! I mean STUNNING...this ladies hand is NEVER without a needle & thread in it! I want to spend time with her this spring to learn to applique! She belongs to the Wichita applique society and has invited me up there, but it is nearly a 3 hour drive for me..sigh...June is the Wichita quilt show, so who knows, by then I might have a place to stay for a few days!

the thread is a golden brown color. Very pretty!
