This will fully cover our table which is 36x60". I think I may use the orange colour as the binding. I did think once that I may put a 2" border around it but I've decided not to. I'm afraid I might distort it, plus I like how the blocks look like their "floating", at least that's what the designer(s) said they do!!!
I used the pattern, "Bubblegum Quilt" from the book "Two From One Jelly Roll Quilts", (Pam & Nicky Lintott), but I added another row & did not do the 9 patch. I wanted to use my Grand Finale (Moda) 5" charm squares.
Thanks for looking.

Thank you all for your comments. I wasn't sure I would get a good enough picture....I had to dash between the rain drops!

Very pretty. Love it. Oh what we would give for raindrops here in Texas. So hot and dry here.

Very nice!! Are you going to put batting in it??

lpsewing 08-06-2011 10:06 PM

Awesome
The colors look nice together...I see fall

xsquilter 08-07-2011 04:57 PM

Thank you all again. I thought about batting & wondered if it might be too poofy, so I'm considering flannel. Or would you suggest nothing? Then I wonder if I would be able to quilt it properly.
