your quilt is gorgeous!!!

toadmomma 02-02-2012 04:46 AM

Looks great, only you can see the flaws, I see well done

polly13 02-02-2012 05:02 AM

Your quilt is very eye-catching! Love the framed flowers, and the play of greens in the border. I always point out my own flaws. I have tried to concentrate on what I do like about my completed projects. What do YOU like best about your finished quilt? Keep quilting!

alfosa421 02-02-2012 05:10 AM

Looks good from this angle-remember you can't be perfect just starting out but it looks like you're getting pretty close. Congratulations and best stitches

Cacklinghen 02-02-2012 06:17 AM

come on-it's beautiful..

oma66 02-02-2012 08:25 AM

ND-Mom 02-02-2012 10:17 AM

I don't mind at all! Yours will be much better than mine.

Krystyna 02-03-2012 04:10 AM

Great job. What an interesting use of scraps. I like it!

gramacheri 02-03-2012 05:26 AM

Tis one beautiful Quilt! Nice thing about scrappy - no one but you can see the oops's! Good job.

Sewfine 02-03-2012 06:02 AM

That is beautiful. Love the square scrappy.

ziegamomma 02-03-2012 06:56 AM

I don't see any flaws. I use to do heirloom sewing and we always said "If you can see any mistakes, back away, you are too close to my child!" I feel the same way about a quilt...."Snuggle under it and close your eyes. Voila! No mistakes!"

Geri B 02-03-2012 07:27 AM

there are no flaws only humility blocks!!!!! Love the scrappy.......great border treatment to tie it all together......

ArtsyOne 02-03-2012 07:38 AM

jpmaroni 02-03-2012 08:03 AM

What a great quilt. You should be proud!

fmhall2 02-03-2012 08:55 AM

I love the flower centers of your white squares. Very pretty quilt. Don't you worry about it. You can show us up close.

QuiltnLady1 02-03-2012 09:14 AM

Very pretty design -- and you did a great job. If you can't see the flaws from the back of a galloping horse, then there are none.

Lorraine Simon 02-03-2012 09:38 AM

Great looking quilt. Love the boarders..they pull the whole quilt together.
Don't be so hard on yourself...Only you see all the flaws...and they aren't that many ..We see beautiful work...

happynana 02-03-2012 09:54 AM

I really like it you did a good job, and if you don't point out the flaws nobody else will notice

stichinluvr 02-03-2012 09:58 AM

Flaws? Just a change in plans. It looks great to me.

lollygagging 02-03-2012 10:19 AM

WOW !! I see a ton of qst's; if not a ton a couple of hundred! Just doing all those is a challenge in itself. I love the final look of your quilt. I love scrappies and think you should give yourself a big pat on the back for making such a beautiful quilt! Thanks for sharing.

WisWis 02-03-2012 10:47 AM

LOvely quilt-very fresh looking.

hensandhollyhocks 02-03-2012 10:48 AM

Wonderful job with the colors.

Sallyjane 02-03-2012 11:18 AM

It looks beautiful to me. I told people that my first 2 quilts were 20 footers :) Looked okay for 20 feet away. But the good news is that they are still loved - my twin GDs still sleep with them every night, and that is after 7 years.

nstitches4u 02-03-2012 03:23 PM

You did a great job. Very pretty!
