Oxyclean works great BUT be careful with it. As one mentioned, make sure it is all dissolved in the water before adding the quilt. Don't rub the oxyclean directly on the fabric (it will fade it). Ask me how I know LoL

I stiill owe my daughter a new shirt :oops:

I would also spray the stains with Shout and let set for a while and then soak in Oxyclean. Shout has taken out old stained after wahing and drying several time. Hope I'm not too late.

It is very beautiful and I'm glad you didn't let your DH talk you out of it.
