What a great find. Glad you and your sister had a good time.

I'm jealous. I not yet found my first jackpot. Every time I go looking I either find nothing or just junk. It's still fun to look though - you never know what you might find.

I am going to sell the Singer. I don't know how to fix, clean, or anything else with them. I just know it was a good buy. I also bought a huge crown crock for only $20. Then we went across the street to an antique mall and found the same one. They were asking $175 but that doesn't mean they will get that price. It was my lucky week.

There are plenty of directions in the tutorial section of this board on how to get the vintage machines up and running, cleaning and oiling. Maybe before you sell it you will want to try getting it going. It is a great sewing machine.

I'm thinking I should start going to thrift stores even though there aren't many around here.
