I didn't want to take down the bed, so put a table on top of it and used risers under it to make it higher. It all works for now! We're empty nest now, so one daughter's bedroom is my office and the other is my sewing room. (I didn't make the quilt on the bed.)

At least you have a dedicated area. It's very nice, but too clean. Do you sew in there? lol.

Great idea! I have a small bedroom too. I store fabrics and such under the bed. Every inch counts! :)

No Linda, this is what your bed is supposed to look like LOL, I'm working on a quilt for this bed, so I'm not sure what I will do with all this STUFF when I get that finished. You are just to neat.

I just cleaned it today! DH was dropping hints. I put my fabric in a tilt front desk not shown. I'm just getting back into quilting, so don't have much of a stash, but I have already broken my 'rule' of NOT buying fabric unless I had a specific project in mind. I have fabric for 3 or 4 projects . Next is a Christmas table runner for me.

It's not so small, but it too clean. I've seen smaller than that. A few years ago someone posted pic's of her sewing room, it was in a closet, machine and all. Do love the quilt on the bed!
