I got two looms today from craigslist for 50 dollars for both. I don't know anything about them, so comments are welcome!!

I have watched other use looms and am amazed. Have a "very small" table top one , not anything fancy really just a childs to try. Lucky you :thumbup:

Your looms look like a real find. They appear to be handmade by someone and from what I can see they are two harness. There should be a basic book on weaving at your library. Yes, you will need a shuttle to weave. You will also need warp thread and then thread for the shuttles. Determine what you want to do for your first projects and that will determine what type of warp and weft thread you need. Placemats would be good as a learner project. I use to weave years ago and can look up a source for supplies for you if you don't have a local shop. PM me if necessary and have fun.
