These are really nice. I discovered them right here on the QB and made 14 of them in an afternoon for the girls I work with. They are fast and easy peezy. I like your combo.

I have made these too. Very nice, and everyone can use them.

Very pretty fabric choices. I made a few of these at Christmas time, perfect stocking stuffer.

Where do you guys find the tissues that pull out like that? All I can find, is the new design where they come out at the top. (Hope that makes sense)

Butterfli19 06-14-2014 06:02 PM

I refolded them to fit. There are 8 in there now.

Very handy.

This is one of the first projects I teach my beginning 4H sewists. I heard from several parents that their kids made tissue holders for every family member and friend for Christmas gifts. One mom travels a lot and gives the holders as thank you gifts.

Auntevie - I buy the tissue packages at the Dollar Store. There are 8 rectangular packs for $1 and those fit the holder perfectly.

I am making things to give to people in a nursing home for Christmas...thanks for the reminders about these!

We had a family friend hand them out at her wedding. (For those people that never bring a tissue - it was a wonderful idea and we all loved it.)

Very cute! Have been wanting to make these. Thanks for posting yours. Love the butterfly fabric you used, think I have some of that in my stash. Bearland53, thanks for sharing the info for a pattern, have it bookmarked.

I quit after 300 or so. Still have some to give away.

PlanoDebbie 06-16-2014 09:09 PM

I made about 35 of these to hand out to the ladies in the office for Christmas last year. They do work up quite quickly and turn out really cute.
