My son was a preemie. I still have a hand knitted cap that was given to him in the NICU. He was a micro preemie so he spent 3.5 months in the NICU. These gifts mean a lot. At one point, all he could wear was a hat and socks because of all the wires.

Thanks everyone so much for your nice comments!! I sent 7 preemie quilts a few weeks ago and they emailed me and were so thankful and said they would be going to NJ NICU later this month!! They sew the labels on all of them first and then they are sent to be washed and ironed, bagged individually, and finally delivered in person by volunteers.

It's so rewarding to see the minis put to such good use and we love the babies and they appreciate it!! :):)
