That's is a beautiful quilt. I would use it on my bed for comfort.

It's beautiful!! What a wonderful keepsake for your daughter, grandchildren, or greatgrandkids some day. Write down it's history and be sure it goes with the quilt wherever it goes or is stored. I am so sorry for your loss. And to think your dd never got to know her dad.
