This is my first ever quilt.
I took a class many years ago, made it in record time but never finished it off. Next week I am taking a longarm quilting class to finally finish my crib size quilt. I would greatly appreciate everyone's feedback, especially suggestions on a longarm stitching patterns to compliment the quilt pattern. Thank you |
Very nice quilt. Like your choice of colors.
Nice quilt. the colors look great and kinda patriotic.
Love the colors they are so welcoming. Enjoy your class. Be sure to post your finished quilt:)
The colors and the geometric prints you chose for this quilt are wonderful! Can't help with quilting designs--I'm hopeless at that!
great love the colors...
That is a lot like my first quilt! It is very nice
Very nice, and I really like the patriotic colors. I think you did a great job keeping the lines straight in the plaids. Good luck with your quilting.
great job, you will be doing others in no time
That's so pretty!! I don't have a clue as to quilting it but look forward to seeing it finished :D
You sure did a great job on your first quilt! Make more!
I have always heard that if your quilt top is primarily linear, you should use a circular pattern to quilt it. And vice versa. I really like the quilt and the colors and am glad you are going to finish it. They will probably have some suggestions in the class.
I really like your quilt, it's pleasing to the eye. Sorry, no ideas on quilting pattern.
Stars and Loops would look nice as well as any pattern that has some circular pattern. Enjoy your LA lesson.
Very nice! Well done!! I volunteer at a quilt ministry at my church and we are making rail fence quilts for a mission trip to Ethiopia in October. I just finished one and am quilting it with diagonal lines. Nothing too fancy but I wanted to do something other than following the blocks.
