I am so excited to show you the first block I have received in my first attempt to join a monthly swap!

My new quilting friend Linda from Chicago sent me this--and I am so thrilled and honored to have it. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Very pretty and the colors are bright and springy (perhaps this is wishful thinking on my part - smile).

I was told the block is "Illinois Star". I am very proud of it too and very happy it is appreciated. I will post the beautiful block that I received as soon as possible.
