Last year I purchased the Web Sampler Celebration blocks through the 12 participating websites. The fabric range was in Vicksburg - I loved the Civil War fabric and couldnt resist - anyway I have finished 6 of the blocks and thought I would share my progress.

Those are going to make a beautiful quilt, I love your colour choices too :D

Are you going to add sashings? I look forward to seeing the next stage :D

mumtoliam 03-26-2009 02:01 AM

They are going to be set on point with a pale beige background, I have the stripy fabric to make a vertical border in between and at the top and bottom I am doing a flying geese border...it was a finishing kit from thequiltmerchant.com - If you visit websamplercelebration.com you can see all the 12 blocks and if you click on the Block 9 you will see the finishing kit I purchased.
