What could happen is that you can use all the remaining triangles to make half square triangles and a neat looking scrappy quilt!

so I made 3 more.... This is fun with all these different fabrics. I used a 5 inch square. (4 patch) then used 61/2 for big square
|
Hey I have the beginnings of a happy scrappy quilt
|
I love it! You could even play with the lights and darks and put a pinwheel in the middle.
|
It's so much fun to play....
|

keep up the good work! Conni  I'm glad I'm sewing again. I kinda got in a slump of not wanting to sew with my flower faces, then I got sick with a bad cold and believe me its not easy sewing or cutting fabs with your nose running all over everything. EEEEEEWWWWW! So played ALOT of games lol  |
Bevanger, doing this block the way you are doesn't that make all the outsides of the block on the bias? Might be very hard to sew your block together if that is true.
|
so glad to see you are back at the sewing machine, Bev! :D
Keep those scappy quilts and pictures comming. |
This is what makes quilting so fun. I can almost see the lightbulb going on above your head.
|
Great job girl!!
Now finish it so we can see it! |
nice

That is very cute, but be careful. You now have a block with bias edges!
|
Neat idea!
How about spray starch or doing a stay stitch 1/8" from edge of blocks to control distortion (if it becomes a problem). |
Great way to get back in the swing of sewing again. GREAT Idea!
