The booth was to promote one of our lesson plans from this year which was to recycle denim. I made the apron the night before we set up!
The quilt is only the top, it will be quilted and entered next year as a bed quilt large!

my extension clubs booth that I made. I also made the apron and the zippered bag.

this is the whole view of the log cabin top. I would love to see a meandering feather quilted on it. Like a vine!

Great things!

tammy cosper 10-10-2011 10:03 PM

Awesome! And I think a meandering feather like a vine on that quilt top would be stunning! Congrats on your wins!

Congrats. Love it all. And the jam too. It must be a fun thing to do. Texas does not have county fairs and it's sad and the Texas Fair is so expensive now, I don't bother. It's so big too. Food and rides were way over the top this year. Thanks for sharing with us.

earthwalker 10-10-2011 11:11 PM

Very impressive...and peaches too! A quilter of many talents. Congratulations on your wins. Love the quilt top...it will be one beautiful quilt...bet you've got the competition worried with that one:)

Painiacs 10-11-2011 02:13 AM

The apron is adorable. I also like the zig zag pattern of the log cabin!

QUILTNMO 10-11-2011 03:15 AM

congrats. very nice

jeaninmaine 10-11-2011 03:36 AM

Love the layout you used for the Log Cabin. The colors are great too. your denim purse is neat. I've been saving denim for a few years in hopes of making a jeans quilt. I need to make something that I can use as a laprobe that won't be destroyed by constantly having an animal or two in my lap.

Murphy 10-11-2011 03:46 AM

Congratulations. You are definitely a winner (smile). Peaches look yummy. Thank you for sharing.

no, it is just by the cleanliness of the jar, ease of opening, (no sticky residue under the ring or on the jar), the color of the fruit, the fluidity of the liquid, the Fullness of the jar, NO floating fruit and consistency of how the fruit is layered in the jar!

That was my FIRST canned fruit entry!!

FayZ 10-11-2011 04:51 AM

congrats. I like the apron idea. When I'm done cooking I always take some of my meal with me as spots on my clothes.

Congrats on all of them. Love the recycled denim. And that is a setting for Log Cabin that I am not familiar with but I like it.

thank you...I thought that for a last minute repurposing job it came together quite well! ALL from repurposed or salvaged items! My cost to make it was about $.50 in thread!

DeniseB 10-13-2011 02:44 PM

congrats! You should be so proud. I agree about the quilting on the quilt. It would be just the right touch.

Evelynquilts 10-13-2011 02:56 PM
