The color of the prairie points in each block is a orangy-hot pink. I know that I won't have enough of that fabric to make sashings for the whole quilt, but I think I will have enough of it for a 1 or 2 inch wide outer border.

I do have some bright blue or yellow that I could try out as sashings though. I will try auditioning them.

This quilt is going to be for my new granddaughter due in May.

I agree.

I think a thin black sash would really define the blocks.

Either way. As I lean back from my monitor and squint my eyes I can see that there's a nice secondary pattern that you wouldn't necessarily get if you used sashing. Nice colors over all...I think it'll be great for your grandbaby!

Beautiful colors! Perhaps thin black sashings would really make the colors pop. :)

I vote for sashing also. Very pretty

Sashing :P

I vote sashing in the red. Gorgeous! and so HAPPY!

I like that yellow/gold TOT in the second row for a sashing. The Y/G in your other blocks don't seem to stand out as much as the other colors, and I think it would tie it together more.

Love the bright colors
