The color of the prairie points in each block is a orangy-hot pink. I know that I won't have enough of that fabric to make sashings for the whole quilt, but I think I will have enough of it for a 1 or 2 inch wide outer border.
I do have some bright blue or yellow that I could try out as sashings though. I will try auditioning them. This quilt is going to be for my new granddaughter due in May. |

Either way. As I lean back from my monitor and squint my eyes I can see that there's a nice secondary pattern that you wouldn't necessarily get if you used sashing. Nice colors over all...I think it'll be great for your grandbaby!

I like that yellow/gold TOT in the second row for a sashing. The Y/G in your other blocks don't seem to stand out as much as the other colors, and I think it would tie it together more.
