I have always been interested in LAQ. Had no idea if I would like it.

I went to visit my DD and her friend let me play on her Long Arm machine all one Saturday. :D WHAT a Blast!! Here are my two "samples". The first is a "cheater" from Joanns. I am going to sent this to one of my friends Grandbaby who is in Maryland. The other is a top that my daughter had done a long while ago - and think that I will send that to another friends Grandbaby (we have had a lot of baby girls recently)

So not only has my list gotten longer but the cost of my list has increased greatly. I am sure that this will have to wait a long while however.

I know I want to me a member of the I want a LA club. It's on my 5-year plan--only I'm hoping it's not 5 years :). I'm REALLY hoping!!

My problem is two fold. First to afford the LA, then where the **** do I put it? I like your first attempts at playing on one though.

You did a great job on those quilts. I tried a long arm at the quilt show I went to. Now it's all I can think about. They are wonderful. Maybe someday. Sigh!!!!

I am afraid that it will be the 5 yr plan for me as well. I keep thinking that I could do it for $$ but that still doesn’t work.

I have a big sewing room – with rearranging stuff it could fit (maybe??). Thanks – the meandering was fun and really not too hard. I did try feathers -THAT was another story!

. . .

Thanks for all the complements - I did have fun It was not as hard as I thought to do but if I were to do it as a job, I think I would go computerized - which of course adds even more $$. Oh well - dreams are nice anways! 8) 8)
