Here is the modified Yellow Brick Road that I just finished. I only used 6 fabrics instead of the 12 called for. I am rather new to quilting and I have trouble selecting colors and fabrics, but I am pleased with my results.

This looks great! I'm going to have to try one with 6 colors for myself.
