My youngest daughter's quilt...

My girls have to share a room and I like everything to match, so I painted their room and bought fabric to coordinate. I have only finished one quilt so far, but my oldest's will be the same pattern but with the major color being green with one purple print. I am using old sheets for the backing and I just love how the quilting looks on the back. :-) The picture of their wall didn't turn out quite right... The top half is a lavender, the lower half a dark purple, and the chair rail is not quite that neon, lol.

Oh goodness, that's a perfect quilt for the room. It's good to make the two quilts match but not be exact, I'd think. Kids like to have a little identity of their own. The wall look great, too, no matter how much neon you toss in. I can remember when green meant sick, but I actually own (and have worn) a couple of lime green shirts! Oh, I shouldn't, to be sure, but a girl has to roll with the times.

Pretty quilt. Did you have a pattern for tumbler? Or can I make the tumbler myself to cut out the material?

I used the small tumbler template from MSQC that is made for charm squares. I used yardage to make them... Just cut 5" strips and went to town with the template.

I love those colors together. The quilt is lovely and I think it's going to match the room perfect. :) Your girls are going to have the coolest room.
