National Quilt Museum BOM 2018
2 Attachment(s)
Thought I would like to share a quilt I just made that is a BOM from the National Quilt Museum. It was a real challenge as I was never sure how they would all fit together into a quilt. I even did my own machine quilting on this one which is a 1st for me. It turned into more of a wall art quilt I think but I love everyone of the blocks on it. The second picture is a picture of my favorite block, the pine cone block. I thought it was quite heavy for a quilt but Betty Ford-Smith makes large quilts with this process that she shared with us.

Very creative quilt. Some of the blocks look very difficult! Great job. It looks fantastic.
Very pretty quilt.
Super quilt! That would have been very fun to participate in :) Awesome overall quilt with so much diversity in pattern, color, etc.. love it!
Looks very complicated to me. Great job on the entire quilt. I too like the pinecone but don't think I'd want to attempt it.
Very creative. Congratulations. I visited the National Quilt museum last year.
Lovely. Each block is so special!
This is fabulous!! I love all the blocks. The bow tie is really cool with that layout.
I have my top finished. Will try to get it quilted this weekend. I have been out of town.
What a great quilt. Well done!
Oh I love that pine cone block! Where could I find a pattern for it?
Both are super. BrendaK

I admit that I do like sampler quilts. But, this one is spectacular! I really think those blocks are individually interesting; the combination in the quilt is simply outstanding. So nicely done.
This is a fabulous BOM quilt. I adore the Mt. Fuji block in the lower left. But all the blocks are super interesting and different. This quilt really inspires the creative juices!
That’s quite an accomplishment! You did a great job putting the blocks all together in a very pleasing way. I love your favorite block too.

I have been following this on FB and think you did a great job.
They are starting a new one in April, looking forward to the new blocks. I just went to the web site and found all the blocks patterns available. |
Wow, that's gorgeous! Looks like a lot of work went into it and you did a fantastic job!

I love this quilt. I have been following the FB group and hope to join in on the new one. I did't find the group until it was pretty far along.
