National Quilt Museum BOM 2018
 

Thought I would like to share a quilt I just made that is a BOM from the National Quilt Museum. It was a real challenge as I was never sure how they would all fit together into a quilt. I even did my own machine quilting on this one which is a 1st for me. It turned into more of a wall art quilt I think but I love everyone of the blocks on it. The second picture is a picture of my favorite block, the pine cone block. I thought it was quite heavy for a quilt but Betty Ford-Smith makes large quilts with this process that she shared with us.

Looks very complicated to me. Great job on the entire quilt. I too like the pinecone but don't think I'd want to attempt it.

This is fabulous!! I love all the blocks. The bow tie is really cool with that layout.

I admit that I do like sampler quilts. But, this one is spectacular! I really think those blocks are individually interesting; the combination in the quilt is simply outstanding. So nicely done.

This is a fabulous BOM quilt. I adore the Mt. Fuji block in the lower left. But all the blocks are super interesting and different. This quilt really inspires the creative juices!

That’s quite an accomplishment! You did a great job putting the blocks all together in a very pleasing way. I love your favorite block too.

I’ve had a look at this site as I’ve not heard of it bevir3 and it was great. I found wherecthe file should be but it unfortunately says “page not available”

I just went to the web site and found all the blocks patterns available.

I love this quilt. I have been following the FB group and hope to join in on the new one. I did't find the group until it was pretty far along.
