Nearly all done....

Just a couple more bags to go and then our church Crafty Ladies work is done for the women’s shelter, to bless those ladies for Christmas 😁 Lately my granddaughter stayed with me on a holiday and she made some scrunches to add to the bags and some pocket tissue holders too, these are pictures of just a few 😉
Last but not least I tried a Scandinavian star, it should have been done in fabric but I had no Heat n’ Bond at hand so I made a trial with paper strips, will have to get the necessary material to make those Christmas decorations with pretty Christmas fabric 😄 Just thought I’d show you how pretty they look ♥️ Will post the fabric ones when done 😊 |

The women at the shelter are going to be so blessed to receive these. What a great thing you and your church's Crafty Ladies & your granddaughter are doing for those in need. Kind things like that always lift one's spirits & make them feel special. Thank you!!!

:o Marvelous creations all.

Beautiful items, they will be appreciated.

Very beautiful. Since our area is going to charge us 10 cents a bag for shopping I was thinking of getting out my stash and making bags similar to this to carry my groceries, etc. home.
|
Beautiful and nicely done.

Someone had asked me abt the pattern for the bags, there are several ones out there but I would have made mine very much like that YouTube tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZgO...&feature=share
The only thing I changed was that I left the opening on the side seam of the lining and not on the top, you can sew it shut by hand or very close to the edge by machine, that’s the way we have been thought in our quilters group and I made sure that I sewed over where the handles are 3 times to make it more sturdy, (I did the same with the seam in the gusset, sewn a couple of times) I also made the handles a different way, cut the fabric abt 4-4,5” and made the seam 1/4” from the edge. I will see if I can post the pictures 😉 All the best for those who want to give it a try and looking forward to see all the lovely pictures 😁😁😁 |
Very thoughtful of both of you!

All are super projects!

Those gifts will be gratefully received.
