Necessary clutch wallet

I love making purses and wallets. These were made for 2 friends who will soon be celebrating their 65th birthdays. Both are from the pattern The Necessary Clutch Wallet. I got the pattern on Craftsy. Only the gray has a removable strap. Easy to make! Hope they enjoy them.

Those are fabulous!!!! But in my opinion not so easy to make!!! My birthday is in October!!! I would like to be your friend!!!!;)

I love that! That's a really smart method for attaching the wrist strap or shoulder strap. Also, I like the front design that you used on the multicolored wallet. Does the pattern come with that front design version? You did a great job on both of them.

Me too! I'll be celebrating my 65th birthday in January so you have a little time.

those are great....I love how you attached the straps.

I love your wallets. I have that pattern and it took me a while to get it finished. Was not so easy for me. You have
done a very nice job.

Love the wallets, especially the zippered compartment. Also loved the way you attached the shoulder strap! Very clever indeed.

quiltmaker52 08-12-2017 07:23 AM

I made the front design. Just took a piece of multicolored fabric and folded under the long edges, folded some green in half, then just positioned the green pieces under the center strip and sewed.

I just tried to order this (downloadable) pattern from Emmaline Bags and had problems. First, I had to verify my PayPal account and change my password, Second, my bank called to verify the charge ($6.94 American dollars), Third, I cannot get the charge to go through Paypal, even after speaking to the "Fraud dept" of my bank. I have given up and moved on.

PumpkinSundae 08-13-2017 08:04 AM

These are great...wish I could do that.

quiltmaker52 08-13-2017 11:19 AM

I too had problems going directly through Emmaline Bags. Then I got it from Craftsy with no problems.
