Need advice please.

I am making this DWR quilt. The fabrics have been approved by the recipient, however, as I progress with the blocks I am feeling concerned by the sameness of the top. It seems a bit insipid/washed out, if you know what I mean?
Because of this I auditioned 2 different tone pinks to see if it helped. I thought it did to a point, but one was too dark, the other was the tone of pink that seemed to clash with the junction triangles.
With quilting I think it will look better than it does now, and my DH feels it's fine as it is.
Would you be kind enough to express your opinions please as which way I should go.

I would use the darker one. It gives more life to it.

I like the darker pink too! The quilting will also make it pop!! Keep going.

Alternating the rings with light/dark pink will give it more definition (if the client will accept that), & the quilting will add a lot.

I would use the darker gives more contrast

Oh well, I like the insipid/washed out one.
Perhaps the quilting can give it umph.
Think of whole quilts that are one color with just the quilting!

I like the lighter pink, to me it blends better. Just my opinion.

I like the first. I would finish it up and quilt it.

I like the insipid/washed out one. But I would prefer all my corners to be pink. So I guess I really like washed out.

I love the first one! It looks so soft, kind of like an antique DWR and totally suits the pattern. It will look lovely with fancy stitching in the rings.
