I vote no shashing cuz the blocks visually stretch out into another block and would chop up the pattern.
Are you trying to make up for it in size? Perhaps you could add several borders or another row of blocks.

I vote for pic. #1 I love the look it gives, really like the brown quilt idea. Good job. Maybe a very thin border or just bind with the color you are displaying for the sashing.

No sashing......use brown borders a dark thin one first, then a larger one to match one in the block.

The sashing all around really defines your blocks and frankly I would go for that. Might use some use cream or white which ever the light color is with a brown polka dot or stripes. That would tie it all together. I rather like your block. Just offering you a option. Should be really wonderful when its done.

Sashings all around, by all means.

Sashing all around ....for me the perfect solution

I like the sashing around each block. Very pretty fabrics and a lovely quilt.
Don't feel bad, I am sure most of us have made mistakes at one time or another. I will agree it is frustrating but the quilt is still beautiful and probably if you never said a thing no one would notice.

I vote for no sashing

I like it best with no sashing. I would put a border all around it. Great job.
