I just finished my quilt top using civil war era repro fabrics. I have a piece that I would like to use for the back, but don't have enough. I have spent the last few hours on the internet trying to find this fabric, with no success. If anyone knows where I might find some, please let me know. It is:

I'm sorry I can't help with your backing fabric but I just wanted to comment that your top is gorgeous. I would think if worse came to worse that backing would mix fine with a black, and you could piece it.

If you can't find that fabric, you could put a frame around it like you did on the top. Just a thought. Your quilt is beautiful by the way.

Good eye Karen, yes there are 113 blocks, it is 106 1/2 inches square. Thanks everyone for the compliments on my quilt top, it is the biggest one I've made. Anxious to start quilting it.

Your quilt top is gorgeous! Wish I could help with the backing fabric.

Remember that old saying, measure twice, cut once. Well that sort of applies here. I did decide to remeasure and refigure what I needed for the backing. That way I would know how much MORE I would need.........well, I have enough fabric after all..(did I tell you I hate math? haha). I figured and measured about five times before I started cutting just to be sure....wish me luck!!!

you might try making some blks and adding them in strips on the back to make it all fit.

Beautiful quilt!!! I agree with everyone else about piecing the backing if you don't find more.

I'm glad you have enough. It's always nice to err on the side of caution and find you do have enough rather than finding yourself short of whatever it might be that you need. Thanks for sharing your good news. And BTW your quilt top is beautiful!
