what do i do ??
|
I don't know, but what you have lookes just like you planned it.
Love the colors, it could be your own made up pattern. Marilee |
I have no ideal, since I'm new to quilting...Love the colors, hope your able to find the help your looking for...
|
Oh dear. I am sure someone can help you. That is what I am afraid of doing when I start making a bargello. Its a very pretty quilt top. Love your colors. :)
|
The only thing that I can see after printing and cutting up the 4 section is that if you are looking for a match you need to swap the 2 center pieces, that way the blues will be together on both sections. I cant get the 2 left sections to match up with the 2 right section though. clear as mud right?

I'm sorry I can't help you.

Nice work btw.. |
Switch the 2 panels on the left to the right side and rotate them.
|
ooops! Double post
|
I would try to switch the 3rd one with the 4th one..top pic..then it would look like a mirror image or take sheepshed's idea..you can really do what you want with a Bargello..as long as you like the design!!

I like the layout in the second picture better. The first one looks a bit choppy with the colours broken up.

Could it be that section of the quilt top areheading in the wrong direction. If I had pieced this, I would have worked in long section, then put the long sections together.
You could print out the photos you have shown us here, on plain paper. Cut the printed photos apart ELNGHT wise and play with the sction to see if that will solve the problem? OR - not joke, decide to call it "By Heck Bargello" --- put a great print border around it, and thus make yor own statement. Let us know what you do. Julie |
