I love snowmen but I think I would do both on this project.

If you can't use both, like in the picture, I pick snowflakes, they are beautiful.

Both will be great although I like the snowflakes best. But then I like most snowflake designs. grin

If I had to choose one, I would go with the snowflakes, but why not both?

Snowflakes! Compliments the tree and allows it to remain the center of attention. Snowmen add another dimension and focal point, to me detracting from the tree.
