I have just finished piecing this baby quilt. I believe the pattern is called Chinese Coins. I usually just stitch in the ditch or stipple my quilts but would love some suggestions on another way to quilt this. I recently bought some freezer paper and remember someone talking about using it to mark a quilting design, then pressing it onto your quilt and stitching the pattern. I'm not sure if my memory is correct on that. I would really appreciate some suggestions as I am ready to try something a little more challenging. This quilt is up on my design board. The borders are white and are a little hard to see in this picture.

try the first one here
http://www.quilting-tidbits.com/mach...g-designs.html I also like a design I saw in a magazine. It was just large random "S"s everywhere and in other directions. |
I love it! How about a vine with flowers and/or leaves?

Use a verigated thread containing the colors of your quilt.
Use a binding made with pieces of those same fabrics & it will look fantastic with meandering pattern quilting. |
I would meander it personally. And use the brightest variegated thread you can find. It will look great on the white and bring the colors together.

Love the leaves, must try that some time.

Think I'd put some bubbles on it.

I think some swirlies/loops/leaves/flowers would look great such as a pattern by Jackie Brown on www.longarmsupplies.net called Leaves In The Wind.

I love it!

I am not sure how to quilt it, but I did want to say it is a very pretty quilt.
