I made these blocks today for some table runners. I could use some suggestions for the borders please.

Aren't these tube blocks just the thing? They are so quick to make and have several variations that can be made.

I had a lot of fun. This was my first try. Quick Christmas Presents, inexpensive too!

Is the top one Green ? I would use a solid green for the border and on the second one maybe a solid red border ?
They look great by the way

They're pretty runners. Solid green for the top one...don't know what color for the bottom.

don't know if you noticed or not..... don't forget to turn the far right hand block to match the others. OR maybe tht was you plan.... pretty either way!

Thanks, borntoquilt. I didn't notice until after I took the picture. Luckily, they aren't sewn together yet. I haven't decided if I am going to sash them or not.

I'm not sure what colors are in the top one, but I think I would go with the darkest color for the border in that one, and black for the red, black and white one. You could do some fancy quilting in the lighter color for the first one and use red thread to quilt the second one. Just a thought... :-D
