How about cutting it down the middle and then making it so the center is on the outside on both sides?

I think I would cut off half of the green/purple section and add it to the other side of the quilt then you would have the two white and purple sections in the middle framed by the purple/green. I think it would give it a more "together" look.

I would probably cut 1/2 off each side that looks dark and light and swap those and resew them on. That way, the lights and darks balance out. Otherwise, I think it looks great.

Thanks, that's kind of what I was thinking but wasn't sure if it would look right if I did that.

Another ??? How can I do this and it be straight? Chalk line? LOL

You laugh, but that's really not a bad idea :) I would probably try a folding method, making sure that the cutting line is the same all the way down. the two cut off sides don't necessarily have to be the same width.
