They look great. I love things that coordinate, rather than be identical

looks good to me

Yay!" Gof for it! Love 'em both...and they do go together because of the brights you used.

Very pretty

Oh, my, I do love them both. Yes, they will work together very well. If you make the second one and hate it, then I will offer to take it off your hands - I'll even pay for shipping! (LOL)

You are so creative...love them both!

Looks like a good pairing to me. The twin will look great with the full.

Nope, no paper piecing. It was like a stack and whack except you only changed out the center triangle. Have to look in my books to find the pattern. I believe that it is a FQ friendly pattern. Will get back with you on the exact details.

The first quilt is made using the Confetti pattern from Super Simple Fat Quarter Quilts by Lynda Milligan & Nancy Smith. I have had this book for a while now, but here is a link on Amazon to show you what it looks like.

The second quilt is based on the Lazy Angle ruler and here is a link to the design that I am planning on using.

I just need to get more bright fabric to use. I am going to try and use some of the scraps from the first one for the center part, but I will need more. That will be the fun part. Will keep everybody posted as to how it turns out.
