Hi, Here's a throw sized star...needs something in the middle though! I might applique a big rose from the roses in the border or a picture of someone or something...any ideas?

an applique rose sounds neat, maybe with a few vines and leaves. :D
I like it the way it is, the border fabric is gorgeous but if you put a colour into that black center I think it'll detract from the WOW of it all...
Is it already quilted in the middle ? If not maybe quilt a design in there
Three little roses clustered in the ctr. would mimic your border and unify it. Beautiful quilt! :D :D
I love the idea of the rose in the center. I am also very partial to red roses so, I might be a little biased there. Looks wonderful!
Maybe some red, irridessent beading of some kind?

I think I will do the roses...maybe the smaller ones as suggested and the beading sounds like a great idea to set off some shine! Thanks for the ideas so far!

What about a smaller star in the middle in red, instead of using roses?
Use a small design. Anything large may take away from the border. Beautiful colors and designs.

Beautiful :!:

That is absolutely beautiful. I love it just the way it is, but if you want to add something I would go with small roses.

What about three roses that are 3-D? Fuzzy cut them with another fabric behind them and hand sew like a little pillowcase, then stuff and wa-la, tack them upon the center. If not, it is beautiful just the way it is. Congrats.
