WOW looks great
Ohhhhhh, I love them! You did a fantastic job on both of them!
I did a large tote for my DIL's sister who is a 5th grade teacher -- out of faux suede. Oh, my gosh, it was frustrating to work with because of the fraying and static. It turned out beautifully, but took me three times longer than it would have with my 100% cotton fabric. |
I love it......
Out of your comfort zone???
You could've fooled me! |
WOW.. GREAT JOB!!!!
Awesome job!!

Well, I love the way it is turning out...now I can't wait to see what you do with the quilting. :D
Found the pictures! WOW! Great! Love the horsies! Faux suede is rather fun to play with, and it feels nice, too!
Wonderful job bb.
Shemjo--this is the first one I did--it is the cause of the first three panics...I haven't taken a photo of the second yet--it looks pretty much like this one--no more wrinkles now.

It started with the first two pieces I sewed together. (See stable differences!) I had to remeasure and go to EQ6 to help make the row of triangles that are at the top. BUT! It's come together and I like it. I have one this far, and one more stable ready with horses cut out. I have fabric for two more. My friend Angie is getting one. :-D I had to show her to get advice on how to deal with that line of stitches on the chest.
Still need to decide if buttons should go on the hatlers. I bought some cute ones. In the book, the horses are wearing bridles--which would have conchs (I think that's the word) there, but halters usually do not. Still thinking.... I also have not a clue how I'll quilt these. Most likely stitch in the ditch as much as possible. Since they are wall hangings, they won't need much. |
See, I told you it would look great! And I've decided it's Tucker and Mazie and Gypsy.
You did great! And I too like it better than the original. But then I'm definitely prejudiced! LOL |
Beautiful job! I just love horses! I believe they are one of God's most wonderful creations! Even though I was a city girl growing up, I always loved horses--just seeing them was a treat. WLee
