WOW!!!! Awesome quilt!!! I,m sure it took a lot of patience and time. You did a fantastic job.

Great quilt but I can see why you don't want to make another one.
|
I love it, I also agree it will be heavy, but my brother always loved heavy quilts. The last forever!!

I can see why you wouldn't want to do it again - - it must be heavy to work with....but it's beautiful!! Great job.....and let it be a one of a kind...........I suppose sharing is out of the question?......Awesome quilt!

This is one fantastic quilt! It sure was worth all the hard work!

Beautiful quilt, although it seems it was more work than you anticipated. My SIL has made several jeans quilts, backed with flannel - they are heavy, but very, very warm. All she did was sew squares of denim together in rows, then I think she tied them, but you could always use the quilt tack method - quilt a small design on the squares, like a star or you could tie it. My SIL also used the pockets for some of the squares which adds a unique touch.

very nice.....but I can understand 'never again' !!!

Great quilt. I am gathering jeans for one like that for my stepGS graduation in 2015. I was going to use fleeze(sp?) JoAnn's had it on sale last wek for 2.99a yard, in the squares would that make it to much heavier? what size blocks did you use? I was thinking I would go with 8" blocks. Any advise would be welcomed. Thanks.

That's gorgeous, but yes! A lot of work! Congrats for finishing!

Oh that came out so nice. Give yourself a pat on the back and a break from doing another one for your other grandson. Unless your other grandson wouldn't mind one made with just jeans and squares this is so colorful and attractive that it would be nice if he had the same kind as his brother. hehe!!
