Never ending scraps!

I swear, scraps multiply in the dark! Is there an evil genie at work? Or wait, a good genie who cuts up that box of bigger pieces?
The top one has polka dot centers (except for the light ones, I ran out of little polka dot blocks), and the bottom one is square, just laying on the floor kind of caddy whompas. Both quilts made with 8"finished size blocks Thanks for looking. |
those are a great way to use up scraps!!
Great looking scrappy quilts.
Nice job, great scrap quilts

Well done!

Maybe you get so many, because you know what to do with them!!!! WTG
both are great
Both are really lovely but especially like the second one.
they are great....love the first one best. i've always loved polka dots
Very pretty. I made 9 kid sized quilt with scraps. Still had not used up the scraps, so I bagged them up and gifted to my Daughter. That is how I get rid of my scraps.
Very nice. I like them both.
I made 2 with my scraps, and I haven't made a dent. |
A very pretty way to use scraps.
Very good use of your scraps.
I love scrappies.
paintmejudy, you certainly have a talent for making wonderful scrappy quilts. Very inspiring.
Great use of scraps!
Very pretty :)
Love the colors! My scrap bins fill up on their own too, it must be a quilters disease! haha
Nice use of the scraps. I am a firm believer boy color scraps get together in the dark with girl color scraps and more scraps are born. It's the only thing that makes sense to me as to why they multiply!
They both are super. BrendaK
Wonderful scrappy quilts!
My theory is that scraps are like bunnies ....... they just keep multiplying ...... lol ....
The tops look really nice and the colors are soothing. |
You do such a nice job with your scraps, Judy! Those quilts don't look like scrap quilts.
My hangars stopped multiplying, but now the scraps are multiplying like yours! |
Nice scrappy quilts.
Both are right up my alley...colorful and happy fabrics. I agree with you Judy about the scraps multiplying, that's why we look forward to your Mystery Train projects. : )
I like them both!!
Those are great scrappy quilts. I love using scraps in my quilts too.
Great quilts! Amazing what can be made from scraps isn't it? I need to be doing the same thing. I have so many scraps that need to be dealt with. Thanks for the inspiration
Love your scrappy quilts! 👌
Terrific scrappies, Judy!
Your quilts are lovely and cheerful. And isn't it good to feel that you have reduced the amount of scraps?

Definitely, a good genie--I never want to run out of scraps! Great quilts.
I just saw this post, I've been gone. I really love that you did the partial seams on the bottom one. If you did that on the top one, it doesn't show, but those partial seams add a lot of professionalism in my opinion.
They are both very nice. My scraps would be what was left after you made those two! |
You always come up with something inspiring in your scrap quilts.
those are great scrappies.......love them
Love your scrappy quilts! Looking forward to the new mystery train ride in the fall.:)
