a new Celtic Dragonfly quilt for a family friend- still needs binding
5 Attachment(s)
i had to make a second Celtic Dragonfly quilt after a family friend saw the purple one i made my daughter and wanted to buy it- i had to tell her 'no- it's not for sale, it's a birthday gift for my daughter; but i can make you one of your own'
she wanted green instead of purple- so i dyed the green fabric for the background & backing; added broidery perse applique for the dragonflies instead of the black silhouettes i used on my daughter's. i finished quilting it last night- have the binding made- just not on yet- my weekend hand project- but since i took pics for the recipient i thought i would share with you too:thumbup: |
