I would love to be able to do that. Is it hard to make a new cover? I have an old farm house and our ironing board actually comes out of the wall! It needs a new cover sooner rather than later!

Is where I found it. I'm cutting the bottom off and taking off the torn top and putting a new cover on it. I'm saving the rest of it!

Just a tip, I cut off the square end of the cover and pad which are pretty clean, serge around the edges and I have a little ironing pad to use with my little mini iron.

My needs more padding. Is there a special type of padding we need to use for the ironing board pad or could we just use batting?
