These are what I've purchased lately. They are from Keepsake Quilting (20% off), Grace Full Creations ($2 off already discounted prices), an ebay seller, and Wal-Mart ($4.44/yard). The average price for all yards is under $5, including the shipping costs. Not too bad. I was surprised to find some of the ebay fabrics in Wal-Mart.

my favorite is the bugs in a jar. Cool!
(Nice stash too!) |
Ooooohhh.... Love your fabrics. Are the first ones Flannel? I have a few similar and a couple of the horse and wolf fabrics. My intention was to make each of my 4 children a quilt with their 2 favorite animals, I have collected enough fabrics to make several quilts each, and still have not started. I keep finding more fabrics I like. I better work on them soon or they will be too "old" for them (almost 20-almost 27)

Very nice fabrics! Enjoy them! Question - could you tell me the maker and name of the fabric in the second to last picture on the right (the beige fabric) - if you have it? I've been looking for something like that.

I'm sew jealous!!
Love all the fabrics, great stash! |
bearpaw--that is "Sunflower Fiesta" by Janet Broxen for P&B Textiles. There are many fabrics in that line. I got that one for $3.25 a yard! I checked the site I bought it from--but it's gone. :( The local fabric store had the same line--maybe you can find it. I bought some of the green for "Wild Thing"-- I wanted to bind it in green--but was out. I was so happy to find some so cheap!
None of these are flannel. |
Barnbum:
Love you fabric...where did the black background Daisy fabric fome from. I love daisy's and would go buy some if it came from Wal-Mart. Have never bought anything from E-bay so don't know how. Love the outdoor "Alaska" animals. Just got back from Alaska where I visited a number of quilt shops where our ship docked and they all featured quilts with the wildlife fabrics. Beautiful. Love the Wolves! The little jars of bugs is darling fabric. Wow! I'll send my address if you think you bought too much and want to share!!! :P |
Feathers--I sent you a PM about the daisy fabric.
My daughter is a camper now--and outdoor girl. I already made her pillowcases from the bears...and gave her first pick on these for more. She picked the wolves (I knew she would--that's why I bought it. ) and the horses in the snow--the blue one. That one I was surprised at. :D I'll have my barn buddy, Kennedy, come over and learn how to make one by making one for her!! What fun!! |
Great haul Karla. The outdoors one will make great pillowcases. Love the horses! The bugs are cute too.
|
Nice fabrics...I like the owl one the best...can't wait to see the finished pillow cases :) :) :)
|
where did all the horse fabric come from? My DD is a horse FREAK and would love a horse quilt...! Great finds!
|
Karla--you got some great deals on your fabrics. I cannot wait to see all your pillowcases. You are going to be busy. Are these for you to sell or are you giving them as gifts?
|
Steph--try Wal-Mart! I got those on ebay, but saw some of the same ones a few days ago at Wal-Mart. There are two 15 min away from us--one is done with fabric, the other still has it.
Marcia--I'll make some for gifts and to sell. I have one more table runner to bind from my first batch. Hopefully, I'll quilt many from the second batch tomorrow--and get the bindings sewn on this week--then hand sewn on the back the week after. I still have a month to get ready. |
Beautiful fabrics Karla :D I'm looking forward to seeing what they all become
|
How's your knee? All those fabrics a great. Did we go on a little shopping spree???? LOL
|
Your fabrics are really nice Karla. They will make great pillowcases. We go past Cross B Farm that has mini-horses all the time. I just wondered if you had heard of them? It's near Soap Lake, Wash. They sure are cute. The grass almost covers them up. Jan

Karla those are wonderful. I love the Wolves , my son saw that fabric and the first thing out of his mouth was " You know mom I would like to have a quilt with wolves like that since our football team is the Wendell Wolves" so I guess I will be looking for fabric with wolves on it this weekend.
|
Georgeous!! I especially love the wolf material.
