Don't you love getting squishy packages in the mail? The hawaiian prints are squares from a muumuu factory in Hawaii and I got each bundle for just $8. I think I'll make a lap quilt and a "hawaiian shirt" quilt. The others, I just thought were pretty and they were on sale.... (good excuse, at least) LOL

What company did you order from? It looks like Hilo Hatties or Mamu.
Don't you just love that fabric? I made some cute 9 patch quilts a few years ago with it and had some leftovers that I made potholders out of and sold at the craft fair.

Those are really pretty. I use that "on sale" excuse all too often I think. DH said yesterday that I always tell him what I bought by starting with the original retail price, then tell him what I paid...well...it works!!!

http://www.kwiltsnkoa.com/ They are called Kihei Pili Bundles

Each of these bundles of Hawaiian print squares can be pieced together simply to make two or more lap quilts or baby blankets. The fabric comes from an Aloha Shirt/Muumuu factory and are either cotton or a cotton blend.

I got a really nice Hawaiian quilt book too. One of these days, I'd love to try it.

Hah! My theory is that he only needs to know how much I saved, not how much I paid! hee hee

Ahhh....ok. I know where the ALoha Shirt factory is. Used to use that side street to avoid traffic when I was on my moped. :)
