great thread, littlehud. don't have any ideas, falling asleep here, but come on over, I have, oh, only about 5-60 quilting magazines, and don't even know how many books. nudge me every so often, won't you? :D

That's beautiful fabric littlehud - I can almost smell the campfire, see the stars and taste the marshmallows! I would fussy cut the campfire animals then do something around the resulting squares - I like the log cabin idea, kind iof woodsy and outdoorsy, and the bear paws - maybe do those as a border? Then an outer border of the tents and kayaks. Whatever you come up with, be sure to share!

Here's a thought, I thought this was incredibly cool...you could make it "woodsy" instead of "hippie" :D

Thanks for the link - I've saved it. What a cool idea, I always wanted to make a quillow but never got round to it and turning it into a backpack is a great idea! I see the kids having these when they get to the age for sleepovers! :D Or you could use them for picnics, or the beach, I love it! :D

I love the fabrics!

The thread... is that sewing or quilting thread?
