Something is wrong... It's definitely in a treadle cabinet, but doesn't look original to it. The machine has a treadle type handwheel, but where is the belt going? That plate to the right of the machine base should have two holes in it for the belt, not just one. One hole is for the cord on an electric machine.
This is a model 15, but they came in electric and treadle, and the electrics came in gear-driven potted motors (15-91) and belt driven mounted motors (15-90). I can't see the back so I can't tell if there is or was a motor, or what's going on. Maybe just the base plate on the right needs to be changed out to one for a treadle (with two holes...) I also don't see a treadle belt connected to the irons below... Hope you get it up and running! The 15s are wonderful machines. |
what website did you go to ?? I go to my singer site and can not find the spot to put my serial number, been there plenty of times and now i can not find it.

Mine is not that good looking and I paid $75, but I love it now that it's all cleaned up.

Give me a 201-2 or a 15-91 any day, love them both. I tried the little featherweight but I kept burning the top of my hand on the light.... my arm is too fat...lol
