I finished both of these quilts this weekend. Since my husband has been watching all the college basketball games, I have had plenty of time in the evenings to sew! Our son and his girlfriend served as quilt holders for these pictures.

Both of them are just beautiful! I just finished the star pattern and it's surprising how the same design can look entirely different because of fabric choices. I love what you did with it! :)

Both quilts are lovely (and both sets of ankles, too). I think the way you did the corners of the star quilt is really cool - it looks like the corners are folding back into the star, "revealing" a second layer of fabric underneath. Very interesting effect - was this planned, or serendipitous?
