New Flimsy Tops

These will both be cuddle quilts for Christmas gifts for some family members. I have a goal to make six cuddle quilts before Christmas. Ummm... don't think I'm going to get there! LOL Right now, including the below, I have 5 quilt tops to quilt, and only three of them are for Christmas! :p Thanks for looking!

why are you calling them 'flimsy tops' ? they do not look like they are made of flimsy fabric- they both look really nice- personally I like the second one best- but both are nice- just wondering about the 'flimsy' reference???

A flimsy is an unquilted top. I think the term originated in other countries (England? Australia?), but it's become fairly common here too. Edited to add that I really like the two tops. The fabrics are wonderful, and the patterns are interesting. Just keep it up and you'll have them all made and quilted in time.
