This is a new pattern that I have had for over a year and finally got around to making it. It is a Tammy Tadd Design called the Zippy Convert-able. What I really like about this is the fact that you make the lining with all of your pockets and it velcros to the inside of your bag. (One side of velco is on the inside of bag and the other is on the lining----but the velcro doesn't show when it is inserted) This means that you can make one lining and use it with more than one bag. I don't know if the pictures will show. I wanted a black and white bag and black doesn't show as well. It also has a zipper closing. I don't have my snap on yet but wanted to show the purse anyway.

Very cute.

Very cute, you did a great job lovce both of them.
What a clever pattern! Your bag turned out really pretty and it will go with everything! Now you will have to make some more in different colors since the inside is already make.
that lining is a good idea. i might try that,
Love it.
Smart looking bag. I really like being able to interchange the inside of the bag. No more hassle of emptying contents when changeing purses
really cute bag
Very nice!
I've seen a pattern like this in nancy's notion catalog. not sure if it is the same one. but what a great idea.your turned out great and I love the look of black and white.
Is this what they call a "Z" bag?
Cute bag, nice idea. |
I had thought about doing that!! I guess somebody beat me to it!! I really like the bag! :-D
very classic black and white/tan design
Nice ... great job!
Wicked! How great to have a liner to remove an put in another bag - match one's outfit without having to "change bags" the old fashion way. I always forget something in the purse going back to the closet! I started just carrying a black purse until its worn out! My MIL would love this!

very pretty...I like it...
Cute purse.
I love it! The black and white fabric is beautiful. And I love the pattern.
I have also discovered that if you use cotton woven belting inside of your straps you will be more satisfied than using batting as most patterns suggest. The batting lets the straps have a little give. The belt webbing is a lot stronger. (I know you probably don't put as much junk in your purse as I do, so I need it strong). Ha

Very good looking purse, removable liner is a good idea. Using belt webbing is also a good idea, I carry lots of stuff in my purse.
That is a great purse. I love the idea of a removable lining. Great idea. Thanks for sharing.

I bought this pattern and made several purses. I love them. I just started a new purse and realized I lost page 9 (the half page) of the pattern. Any chance you could send me a picture of the instructions on page 9?
very nice looking bag. reminds me of the ones you see in the store with MK, BP, CC, and those other overly expensive bags.had to look twice.
Great job........love the purse and the color. Happy quilting :)
I love your color choices!!! Looks very elegant!
The transferable liner is really smart. Love the thought of changing Purses with out tipping every thing out. Smart Idea
